Lions Gate Project-Prospect Point Underpass
Location: Prospect Point, Stanley Park, Vancouver, BC, Canada
Contractor: Kingston Construction Limited
This project was the finishing touch to the massive restoration of Vancouver's Lions Gate Bridge. The underpass required 15 pre-stressed box girders complete with bearing pads for the roadway and 1227 ft² of facia panels for the archway.

Dodd's Bridge
Location: Old Lake Cowichan Highway, Duncan, BC, Canada
Contractor: SureSpan Contracting
This Ministry of Transportation and Highways project required 11-22 meter and 11-20 meter pre-stressed box girders with cast in place parapets, a pier system and abutments. This particular project was completed several weeks ahead of schedule and proved to be a huge success.

Shoal Island Log Sort Access Bridge
Location: Crofton, BC, Canada
Contractor: SureSpan Contracting
This bridge was installed for the Timberwest Forest Company in 1999. The project required the demolition, fabrication and installation of a new concrete deck composite bridge. A major issue was the fact there were two underground pipes running underneath the bridge that could not be disturbed in any way. However, from start to finish, the project was completed in 14 days.

Description: We provided this small steel predestrian bridge to a local golf course. It was a small project, yet is a lovely piece of work.

Description: We performed this project as the prime contractor in the fall of 2000. The project required the fabrication and installation of 12452 ft² of both insulated waffle walls and sandwich panels.

Langford Fire Hall

Square Footage: Working in concert with Knappet Construction, this 10588 ft² building was erected in the spring of 2001. The precast walls were both insulated waffle walls and sandwich panels.

Brulen Warehouse

Description: This warehouse included upper and lower level precast wall panels as well as columns for support. Surespan supplied both the precast and the installation crew for the panels. The job was completed in early 2003.

Refueling Jetty, Esquimalt Naval Base, DND
Location: Esquimalt, BC, Canada
Contractor:North America Construction
Description: We provided 57 prestress tub girders, each about 50 feet in length and weighing about 56 tonnes, as well as the fender panels for the refueling jetty. This project was a lengthy one, with supply and install aspects taking over a year. The end result is this refueling jetty for our pacific fleet.
